Morten Einshoej is a former lawyer who together with his co-owner of Fiberbinder identified a need to make workplaces safer both during and after asbestos renovation. The problem they wanted to solve was that even after thorough vacuuming there will often still be harmful asbestos fibers and other historical dust in cracks and crevices. This lead to the idea for the Fiberbinder product that is a water-soluble liquid that penetrates into cracks and crevices while allowing the construction to breathe. In this way, Fiberbinder binds the fibers in their current location, rather than encapsulating them with a new, hard surface.
